One of the most useful features I use on almost every site I deploy with Divi (which is all of them) is the secondary/top navigation bar.  Being able to have a consistent display of phone and email (as well as the actual second menu) is extremely helpful to your audience as contact information should be easy to obtain.

One of the disappointing aspects of the telephone number, though, is it is not clickable.  When you view any site on mobile (and who doesn’t these days?) and come across a number, you should be able to ‘click it’ and it should call the number, right?  I am guessing Elegant Themes will eventually bake this feature in, but until then, here is how to add it yourself:

Essentially look for this section:

<div id="et-info">
 <?php if ( '' !== ( $et_phone_number = et_get_option( 'phone_number' ) ) ) : ?>
 <span id="et-info-phone"><?php echo esc_html( $et_phone_number ); ?></a></span>
 <?php endif; ?>

And replace it with (bolded what is added)

<div id="et-info">
 <?php if ( '' !== ( $et_phone_number = et_get_option( 'phone_number' ) ) ) : ?>
 <span id="et-info-phone"><a href="tel:<?php echo esc_html( $et_phone_number ); ?>"><?php echo esc_html( $et_phone_number ); ?></a></span>
 <?php endif; ?>
